WHO WE ARE
THE FOUNDATION
Since 2012, the 510 Foundation has served the Nashville community, born from a vision to expand the outreach ministry of Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. The foundation was launched with a generous gift from the estate of Frances and J.B. Elizer, followed by significant support from Cal Turner Jr., former owner of Dollar General, whose belief in our mission fueled the foundation’s growth in East Nashville. Thanks to this support, we have expanded our impact and now operate six local ministries and two international strategic partnerships.
HOW WE SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY
From planting seeds in the hearts and minds of the next generation to supporting missions locally and around the globe, the 510 Foundation has remained a faithful presence within the communities in which it is making an impact. This would not happen without the generous support of individuals and grantors who have joined our efforts through financial contributions.
Specifically, our ministries and divisions help feed the homeless, furnish homes of the recently homeless, offer extra-curricular activities for students of all ages in both sports and the fine arts, confront inequities in our community, and support international missions.
We know, it’s a lot, and it’s hard to explain in just a few words. But we’re passionate about all of it.
